This site was initially uploaded much before the relatively new official NIOH site was ever available on the web. Yet if you compare the quality of the two sites, you will notice the poor quality and stagnancy of the so called official NIOH site. Just imagine that the web page of a national institute has remained non-updated since more than 2 years now! What a shame. Does this seem like something at the leadership level is missing? If so inclined you are welcome to visit the official NIOH website at http://www.india-future.com/nioh/ .

I will continue in serving this site as a proxy service to the alumni of this institute and the various recruiters and employers who want to look up on the web for references to this fine institution and its alumni. This service is also for the multitude of the handicapped population in India and the world, for whom I will maintain, update and upgrade useful links and information at his site.

In hosting this site I declare that apart from being an alumnus of NIOH, I neither represent nor claim to be associated or reimbursed by NIOH for this service.

Though I intend to portray an accurate and up-to-date picture of the National Institute for the Orthopedically Handicapped located at Bon-Hooghly, Calcutta, India, yet due to many unavoidable circumstances I cannot claim to be absolutely authentic of the institute's mission statement, ideologies, trends and future challenges and changes. However it is my intention, in all good faith, to keep current the information on this site.
